I had a incredible experience today! I drove up from Gatineau to visit my friend and noticed the car was making strange sounds. We called the shop and they took us in immediately! The mechanic was incredibly friendly and helpful. We don’t know much about cars so he made sure to explain everything to us thoroughly! Once the car was ready he test drove it with us, and we had a lovely conversation with him! He is so genuine and kind! I can’t recommend this shop more!! Thank you thank you thank you!

I had an amazing experience at this car repair shop! The service was fast, honest, and professional, but what really stood out was how genuinely kind and helpful the mechanic was. He took the time to explain everything clearly, didn’t try to upsell anything I didn’t need, and made sure I felt confident about the repair before I left. Highly recommend this place if you’re looking for trustworthy service with a personal touch.

We had a bubble in our tire that we needed to switch, just to our luck the new tire we got off marketplace also had a bubble. This shop found us a tire and ensured that it was the best quality possible. They showed us everything they were doing and it really helped us with the major inconvenience. Fair pricing too. Will be back!

I was super skeptical about switching garages — I had been going to the same one for years. But due to convenience, I decided to try this place out, and honestly, I’m so glad I did. From the very first visit, this garage felt like home. The owner is incredibly kind and genuinely treats me like a daughter. As a woman who doesn’t fully understand car issues, I’ve always worried about being taken advantage of. But here, everything is explained with so much patience and clarity. He never makes me feel like I’m asking a “dumb” question — instead, he walks me through everything in detail so I can understand exactly what’s going on with my car. What really sets this place apart is how available and welcoming he is — I could call at any time of day, and he’ll always tell me to bring the car by so he can take a look. If you’re looking for a clean, honest, and reliable garage where you’re treated with care and respect, I highly recommend this one. I didn’t expect to find such a comforting and trustworthy space, but I’m so glad I did.

I recently visited H and I Mécanique for two services: repairs from a car collision and swapping to winter tires. Their prices were fantastic, and the service exceeded my expectations. I strongly recommend them for their professionalism and value! A few weeks after my visit, I encountered a flat tire. The manager at H and I went above and beyond by providing me with all the necessary information regarding the issue, fixing the flat tire and even suggested me to replace the tire after 3 flat tire on the same wheel. His dedication and expertise reaffirmed my confidence in choosing this garage. I can now make my roadtrips for the holidays just before my vacations. If you’re looking for affordable, reliable, and customer-focused automotive service, H and I Mécanique is a top choice!

I tried this garage after a friend of mine told me about his quality service and reasonable prices so I gave him a chance and I wasn't disappointed, the owner himself took care of my car for several times since two years now so he is my garagist and I do trust his diagnostic and suggestions when I do maintenance job on my car as I drive for long hours a week. Also I have remarked good comments on google map about this garage so I decided to share my good experience as other did and I want to say by this comment that I Highly recommend M. Mohammed, the owner of H & I Auto Mecanique

Went to get an oil and tire change a few weeks back for my Kia Sorento. They had a spot for me within 24 hours which was super convenient, and the price was very reasonable. However I would have enjoyed if they updated my oil change sticker to know when I'll be due for my next change. I recommend for sure.

I visited H & I Auto Mécanique today. As a new driver, I was nervous about going to a shop other than the dealership I bought my car from, but their excellent reviews encouraged me to call. They answered promptly, and the owner, Mr. Idress, was polite, humble, and very knowledgeable. He explained everything clearly and made me feel comfortable and confident. I had an oil change and filter replacement, and the service was quick, professional, and honest. I left with peace of mind and confidence in my car. I would highly recommend H & I Auto Mécanique to anyone in Montreal looking for a reliable and trustworthy mechanic.
